Part 4: The Seals of Judgment
Revelation 6:1 – 7:14
Seal #1 – Horseman 1 = Conquest
He carries a bow, an instrument of destruction.
His white horse symbolizes victory.
Seal #2 – Horseman 2 = War
He wields a sword to "take peace from the earth" so men can "kill one another".
His horse is red like the color of blood spilled on the battlefield.
Seal #3 – Horseman 3 = Famine
He carries a pair of balances for the weighing of bread.
Food will be 16 times its normal price.
His horse is black representing despair.
Seal #4 – Horseman 4 = Death
His horse is "pale". The Greek word for pale is chloros, which denotes a pale yellow green; the color of corpses on the battlefield.
Seal #5 – A vision of those who have died for their faith.
Seal #6 – Unprecedented natural disaster. So cataclysmic are these disasters that humanity is panicking and begging for protection.
From the calamity brought on by the opening of the seals God provides reasons for worship:
1 - Protection for the remnant.

From the calamity brought on by the opening of the seals God provides reasons for worship:
1 - Protection for the remnant.
- Angels watching over God’s "bond-servants"
- Bond-servants given God’s seal – like the blood on the door post at Passover
- 144,000 witnesses to proclaim the Gospel / Good News during the time of tribulation on earth
- Postured to worship
- Proclaiming praise
- Participation by all
- Privileged to worship day and night
- Given the robes of victory and hope
- Never be hungry or thirsty of spirit
- Refreshed with springs of living water
- God will wipe away all tears and be their comforter
