Adult Ministries
Adult Sunday School
Our goal in Sunday School is simple: Evangelize the unsaved and disciple the saved. We want to use Sunday School as a ministry to fulfill the vision given by God to our pastor to “provide direction for life” and to “lead everyday people to become authentic followers of Jesus Christ.”
We feel our task is to reach out to people and invite them to Bible study, teach them God’s Word, and minister to their needs. Sunday School is a great place to get connected! We offer two different times – one at 8:30am and one at 9:45am. Come join us as we discover the wonderful truths of God’s Word and learn how to apply them in our everyday lives!

Women’s Ministry – Love Connection
Love Connection is a ministry uniting the hearts of women through the love of Jesus Christ. We want to connect with each other and with Christ by developing strong relationships and reaching out to our community and beyond by sharing the message of Christ and His love.
Proverbs describes the “Woman of God” and our goal is to provide opportunities for women to strive toward that ideal. Some of those opportunities include community outreach, Bible studies and service projects to name a few. All women ages 18 and older are invited to our quarterly meetings. Please join us as we explore God’s Word and give each other the support and compassion that we are privileged to share with each other and the world around us.

Baptist Women’s Missionary Union (WMU)
WMU’s global vision is to challenge Christian believers to understand and be radically involved in the mission of God. This involvement happens as the WMU in a church, leads people to experience missions personally through ministry and witness, develops mission awareness, supports missions work through prayer and giving, and nurtures lifestyles that reflect a commitment and obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20).
Easthaven’s WMU meets at on the first Wednesday morning of each month. If you have a heart for missions, this is the place you can exercise that desire and serve through prayer and giving. Come join us!

Southbelt Scrappers
A few scrapbook crazy ladies in our church had the wonderful idea of hosting community-wide scrapbook events. We thought: Why not do what you love (scrapbooking) while serving the Lord in outreach! Every quarter (and sometimes more often) we host a project workshop and/or crop in which there is always something new and exciting to learn! We always have fun, food, and great fellowship.
The project’s nominal cost covers all the supplies needed; there is no cost just to come and crop with us. Those interested in other crafts are also welcome to come and craft alongside the scrapbookers. So bring yourself and a friend, your supplies, and a snack to share this awesome time of fellowship! RSVP needed to order supplies and coordinate child care. Check the calendar or click here for details on our next scheduled event.

Marriage Matters
Every marriage is either moving closer toward oneness or drifting toward isolation. At Easthaven we believe God is first and your spouse should be your second priority (above kids, work, service, etc.), that marriage is under strong attack in our society, and that the church should educate and encourage marriages to achieve oneness within our congregation and surrounding community. Approximately once a quarter Easthaven hosts a fun date night for all couples (young & old, w/ or w/o kids) to attend. We meet at the church for a short discussion on a marriage topic, drop off the kids, and head out for an evening with each other alone. We also coordinate fellowship with other couples and annual marriage seminars:
■ Weekend to Remember by FamilyLife
■ A Growing Marriage w/ Dr. Gary Chapman
■ The Great Marriage Experience w/ Dr. Gary and Barbara Rosberg
■ I Promise w/ Dr. Gary Smalley
■ Marriage Today w/ Jimmy and Karen Evans
■ HolyHomes Conference w/ Clay and Renee Crosse
■ Becoming Soul Mates w/ Drs. Les and Leslie Parrot
Check the church calendar for details on our next scheduled event.

Financial Peace University
Imagine what the People of God could do for the Kingdom of God if they were debt free and good stewards of His money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is a life-changing program that includes practical lessons on eliminating debt, building wealth, giving like never before, and much, much more! You'll be empowered with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to achieve your financial goals and experience true financial peace!
Easthaven hosts this transformational program for EVERYONE (young, old, financially distressed or secure) in our community and church each fall and provides support and encouragement year round. Over 650,000 families and individuals have attended Financial Peace University, and millions listen to Dave Ramsey daily on radio, TV, and internet. On average, FPU graduates have paid off over $5,300 in debt and saved $2,700 during the 91-day program! People who have gone through FPU frequently use the phrases “it changed my life” or “it strengthened (or saved) our marriage.”

If you are a senior adult who wants to be actively involved in the Lord's work, then the Master's Department is the place for you. We meet every Sunday morning for Bible study. Nursing Ministry
Our dedicated team’s multifold purpose is to provide church members current information regarding important health issues as well as guidance to health agencies that can provide assistance with medical needs. We also perform community outreach by offering an annual Health Fair allowing the community to get medical screening and an opportunity to minister to those in need of spiritual guidance. Finally, we make ourselves available to render first-aid and directions to persons injured on campus.
“Beloved I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3 John 1:2)

Ronald McDonald House Ministry
This ministry was formed to help support Ronald McDonald House by Monte and Tammy Burke in July 2007 from a desire to give back to the community, and after a personal struggle with cancer. Once a month, on the 2nd Saturday morning, we meet to prepare a full breakfast menu for the families that have children suffering with life-threatening diseases. We feed their hearts and their stomachs and mentor their minds with the help of our Lord, Jesus.
Donations are taken to purchase the food and volunteers join together to make this happen. You may give your donation to Larry Way or designate it as an offering to the church Ronald McDonald fund. Volunteering has brought many in our church family many blessings. Helping these children and lightening the load for the families WILL change your heart too. Volunteers meet us between 8:30 and 8:45 AM at the Ronald McDonald House of Houston - 1907 Holcombe Blvd., Houston TX 77030.
